The recurve blade makes the Scallion handy for most campsite and field chores. It is made from high-carbon stainless steel which offers good edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance. The bead-blasted finish gives the blade a matte look and is easy to maintain, too. The camo Scallion's handle is anodized aluminum over steel liners. Anodizing not only enables the aluminum to accept the camo pattern, but also actually strengthens the aluminum.

Like all other models of the Scallion Series, the camo Scallion is equipped with the SpeedSafe ambidextrous assisted opening system. With SpeedSafe, you can open the blade one-handed - which can be extra convenient when you're in the great outdoors. Just pull back on the blade protrusion or push on the thumb stud and the blade moves out of the handle, ready for use.

For safety, the camo Scallion has two locking systems. The locking liner locks the blade open so it can't accidentally close during use. And to ensure that it won't accidentally open during transport, the Scallion is also equipped with a Tip-Lock slider to lock the blade closed when folded.
