Film sword - Bride's Katana

This sword is based on the sword of Beatrix Kiddo (also known as Black Mamba or The Bride) from the cult movie Kill Bill.

In the course of the movie, Beatrix convinces the retired legendary swordsmith Hattori Hanzo to forge a sword for her. Hanzo agrees and works for a month on what is probably his best blade. After handing it over to Kiddo, she sets off for Tokyo to begin her vengeance campaign.

The katana offered here has an approx. 103 cm long blade made of 1045 high carbon steel with a hamon line engraved in the Shinogi Zukuri style. There is also an engraving of a lion on the edge. The rayskin-lined handle wrapping is made of black faux leather in the classic Hineri-Maki style. The saya has a high-polish finish (Kuroro style), two inlaid decorations and a gold-coloured sageo.
The sword comes with a stand, sword sheath, collector's box and care set.

This katana is designed as a collector's item or decorative object.
