Katana – Kikoku, Trafalgar Law, One Piece
This decorative sword was inspired by the Kikoku wielded by the pirate Trafalgar Law in the anime One Piece.
Trafalgar D. Water Law, also known as the Surgeon of Death, is the captain and doctor of the Heart pirates. He is one of the 12 pirates known as the worst generation. His popularity among the fan community is huge and he has emerged as an important character in the story of the anime and manga.
Due to its overall length of approx. 134 cm, Trafalgar Law's sword is more akin to the Ōdachi than the classic katana. It has an approx. 94 cm long, slightly sharpened blade made of high carbon steel. The most distinctive feature of this katana is probably the tsuba encased in faux fur. Its approx. 40 cm long tsuka is wrapped in a golden grip band, which is underlaid with imitation ray skin. The handle also has decorative elements made of gold anodised aluminium. The black-coated saya is made of wood, decorated with white crosses and wrapped with a red band near the mouth.
Please note that this katana was designed as a collector's item or decorative object.
